F.A.Q.’s

I am an on-location photographer.  I do not have a studio.  Once you book your session, you will then be able to pick your location.  I have many locations that I love to use, but ultimately it will be your decision on where your session takes place.  I am happy to travel anywhere within a 25 mile radius.  If time permits, we can go to other cities for a small travel fee.  Please browse my website before our session.  My style is very laid back and casual and I want to make sure that is what you want.  If you have ANY other questions, don’t hesitate to ask!  Just click the email link above and send me an message!  I can’t wait to talk to YOU!

Q: How long until I will be able to see my pictures?!

A:  For portraits it will take 2 WEEKS  before your disc or proofs will be available and for weddings it will take up to one month.  I do try to post some “sneak peeks” for you to view, cause I know you’re anxious!

Q:  I’m interesting in your Wedding Photography.  What do I do!?

A:  If you’re interested in asking me about some wedding photography, first, THANKS for thinking of me!  I’m honored.  First we need to make sure I am available on the date of your wedding!  View my calendar HERE.  I try to keep it as updated as possible.  Before we book your wedding day, we must make sure we fit good together.  I am NOT a wedding coordinator.  I prefer to stay hidden on your wedding day.  Capturing all those special moments that pass so quickly! I am not a traditional photographer.  I do not take hours posing your family and your guests to take pictures like THAT.  I do take “family photos“.  I just steer clear from calling them “formals”.  It’s usually pretty quick after the ceremony.  Everyone get together, smile, and we’re done.   I will photograph all the important moments.  My style is more journalistic.  I want to capture your day as it happens.  If you’re interested in a more traditional form of photography for your special day, maybe we are just not a good match:( Just click the Portfolio link above and check out my wedding photography!

Q:  What can we expect from our session?

A:  As in my weddings, my portraits are also very laid back.  Seniors bring things that are important to you!  Please bring toys for your kids to play with.  I like to follow your kiddos around and just let them be themselves!  Dont’ worry if they cry a little or don’t warm up to my camera RIGHT away.  I’m patient.  I’ll do whatever I can to get that perfect picture for you!  I LOVE to laugh and have a great time on our session or at your wedding.  You can ask anyone that I’ve photographed.  We’ll take breaks and sit around and joke.  We’ll make memories:)  So be prepared to have a GREAT TIME taking pictures!

Q:  Can my mom come to my Engagment session with us?

A:  Unless you tell me ahead of time, please try not to bring anyone extra to your session.  Sometimes it’s hard to get that comfortable feeling with other people watching.  Yes, exceptions can be made of course!  Just ask.  And I LOVE pets.  If you’d like to bring your pet, please just tell me ahead of time and we’ll make arrangments!

Please browse my website before our session.  My style is very laid back and casual and I want to make sure that is what you want.  If you have ANY other questions, don’t hesitate to ask!  Just click the contact tab above and send me an email!  I can’t wait to talk to YOU!

Hi Jessica,
I’ve been in contact with you for the past few months and just wanted to get an update. I saw on your calendar that you have a wedding booked for Saturday, June 4, 2011. My wedding is in The Woodlands/Spring, TX area on Friday, June 3. Do you book two weddings in one weekend? I completely understand if you don’t…it sounds like a lot of work! I just wanted to know because I’m beginning to try to narrow down my photographer options. I would love to work with you, but I just want to see if you’d still be available for my date.
Thanks!
Marissa Leo
