On August 11, 2011 I became a mother. No one can prepare you for meeting your child for the first time. August 11, 2011 was perfect. Emma Kay Hicks is perfect and she has changed my world. I’m beyond grateful that my friend Kristin Manuel took these pictures for me. I will cherish them for the rest of my life. I’m sorry it took so long to finally get this slideshow on my blog

Thanks for sharing you beautiful childs birth experience. I don’t think there is one single pic of Matt w/o a HUGE grin! Ya’ll are such a happy, loving family & Emma is so fortunate to have such loving, caring parents! These were such awesome pics & I’m so glad u shared them with all of us!
