Yea…sooo…I shot this session YESTERDAY! Do I get some kind of award for blogging today….anyone? I’d love a certificate or something!! I just couldn’t wait…because I REALLY love these pictures. I was kinda in the zone today…as you might be able to tell!
Let me start by saying that Stacey and Garrett picked all the locations themselves. These are places they hang out together, places that are important to them as a couple. They even scouted and planned everything out ahead of time. Talk about AWESOME. This is what I want from you when I ask you to pick your location. I really want people to feel like they know Stacy and Garrett after seeing their pictures. That’s the reason I’m a photographer. Not every picture is perfect. Not perfectly in focus….but if personality shows through, then I’ve done my job! I haven’t had this much fun on a shoot in a while…They took me all over Dry Creek! Literally, I think we went to every corner! And I wouldn’t change a thing

Here is their save the date picture. Notice the tag on the cow’s ear. Totally their idea and I LOVE it. The cow wasn’t loving it though….
This didn’t work out quite as well as we’d planned. This is the momma cow (from above) ‘s baby. And this baby was NOT feeling it. But I really love the way this series came out.
Um…yea…so HELLO LOCATION! These two have spent many hours at this dune together. It’s a special place for them. Even though it was quite a hike to get there….it was TOTALLLLY worth it!!
