Amber + Chad Smith | Porterville, California Wedding

Its never been a secret that I’m not a HUGE fan of Southwest Louisiana.  I’ve never really felt at home here.  I’ve pretty much made peace with the fact that my husband and I are pretty much stuck.  And we’ve learned to cope.  But my job has some pretty amazing perks.  I don’t travel ALL the time, but this past year I have alot.  Travel mostly between here, Houston and Dallas.  Which, don’t get me wrong, I’m totally not complaining.  I LOVE Texas.  I love booking jobs there, cause I get an excuse to go back home and visit my friends.  But THIS. California!  REally, could my job BE more awesome  This pretty much made my year.  I knew I would love Amber and Chad right away.  Not just the fact that they flew me out to California to document their beautiful wedding, but they just seems so sincere and friendly.  And I wasn’t wrong!  The second I met them both, I knew that we’d be great friends

This wedding is the PERFECT example of why it is a great idea to do the First Look.  So much pressure is gone.  And not to mention you get all these amazing moments ALONE with your soon to be husband.  To be yourself, and be in love.  I mean isn’t THIS right here what your whole wedding day is about anyways!

Love times A MILLION.  This will be somewhere in my house soon.  Even if I have to hang it in my own bedroom!

Amber and Chad have two little boys.  The youngest will not feeling well, so he didn’t get to party much at the wedding.  But Landon had a BLAST.  I so love the picture of Landon and mom.

Then things got a little emotional during Amber’s dad’s speech.  Really made me remember my father.

How cool is THIS!  Chad is wearing his grandfather’s ring.  The date and their names are engraved inside.  So he will always carry a piece of his grandfather with him.  I think this is very special.

I have never seen a more enthusiastic group of women after that bouquet!

Thank you guys for allowing me to be apart of your day.  I can never thank you enough for flying me and Heather out there to be with ya’ll.  We had so much fun.  Maybe I can fed-ex ya’ll some crawfish
