First, I made some sweet senior brochures to send out with my senior reps for this year.  If you get one of these brochures, there’s a nice little surprise inside!

And I also printed some sweet little rep cards to hand out around town!

So keep your eye out   If you bring in a brochure, you will receive 48 free wallets!!  In addition to THAT special, if you book before September 15th (your session can be anytime, you just have to BOOK your date), you will receive ANOTHER free 48 wallets!!

If you notice in the brochure above, a senior session is $175.00.  This session fee covers my time and talent and doesn’t include prints or a disc.  This fee must be paid when you book your session in order to secure your appointment!  It is non-refundable, but if you have an emergency or the weather is bad, we will reschedule.  So no worries!

So now that the session fee is out of the way  On to the fun products!

Most of these products are new for 2011 seniors.  Everything you see here is also available for basic sessions!  Just send me an email if you’re interested

Albums are the best thing I think I have added to my product list.  They really are amazing and something you will definatly cherish forever.  The old fashioned “drop in” albums are out dated and boring!  These albums are flush mount albums with thick lay-flat pages.  Your album will be custom designed by me.  You may choose the 20 images you would like in your album (you can add more pages for an additional charge).  Or I can choose for you!  You will have the option to proof your album before it is sent to print, to make sure there are not any pictures in there that you’d rather not use.  Albums are available in two sizes, 6×6 and 8×8 (both shown in photo).  They start at $250.00 and include the custom cover and 20 pages.

Just a little FYI, I will be bringing a bag full of all these products to my sessions with me.  So if you want to take a closer look at anything, just let me know!

Now, my next favorite new product is the 3×3 accordion books.  I can fit 8-10 pictures in these.  They are so cute and fit in your pocket or your purse!  They have a magnetic closure so the pictures inside won’t get harmed

These are GREAT for family sessions too!

All of my products are printed at my professional photo lab.  The quality is amazing and the turnaround time is awesome also.  You have to see the products in person to really grasp their awesomeness!

The venue was amazing.  Never ever in my entire life have I been treated so well at a venue.  I can’t even begin to explain how amazing these people were.  Most venues treat the couples and guests amazing, but as a vendor, I’m usually just a second thought (if I’m even thought of at all).  They took care of me and my assistant all day.  Making sure we had EVERYTHING we needed.  Even hunted down a ladder for me!  I would recommend this winery to anyone who was interested in a destination wedding.  And I know they get a high recommendation from Holly and Clint too. Ponte Family Estate in Temecula, California.  Breathtaking isn’t it!

I’m going to say right now, that Holly’s ring is the best ring I’ve ever seen in my life.  And I’ve seen alot of rings (well MY ring from my amazing husband is the best ring ever *disclaimer).  So I took ALOT of pictures of it.  I’m a sucker for ring shots.  So sorry

These earrings were given to Holly’s grandma from her grandpa (right Holly?) in 1956.  See the date!!!  How cool is that!

Holly had two bottles of wine sent to my house from this place.  One for me and one for Nicole.  AMAZING.  Their wine is so delicious.  I wish I could’ve spent an extra day there to do a tasting!

Anyways, thanks for listening to yet another BLAH BLAH BLAH blog.  I’ll be posting Holly and Clint’s winery wedding next.  It was fabulous and I had so much fun.  But it’s not ready just yet.

All of my friends seem to be having babies and starting their families.  I’m so flippin happy for them!  But I can’t help but ask God when my turn is.  I try to patiently wait…but again…I’m IMPATIENT. It’s hard to explain to people what I’m going through and the feelings I have.  I can’t wait to have a family with my husband.  I wish I could have given my dad a grandchild before he left….but I know he’s going to get to meet my baby before I even do!  At least I have beautiful friends to photograph

Oh and just to add….I shoot mostly any kind of photography.  But unfortunately I DON’T shoot maternity.  The girl photo’ed above is one of my best friends, so I want to document everything for her!  I agree that pregnant women are so beautiful and I know it’s kinda weird for me to not shoot them.  BUUUUT I’m just not comfortable with those types of sessions.  It’s harder to pose a pregnant woman and alot more difficult to be creative.  So I just had to post this disclaimer.  Because even though every now and then you are gonna see a hot mamma on my blog…..I still don’t shoot maternity   But I do know some fabulous photographers that do, so if you need a referral, just email me!

The only “details” to photograph in Jeremy’s room was his Miller Lite!  Guys are so easy

Thank goodness Candace and Jeremy trusted me on the First Look.  Otherwise there is no way we would’ve got to go to the Canyon!  We tried to find a quite spot around the palace for them to see each other.  But Saturday, mid day, Caesar’s Palace…no such thing as a quiet spot!  So oh well!!! They didn’t mind an audience…

Now back at the hotel we snapped a few shots of the kick butt bridal party.  How awesome are those colors.  I love when the color black is left out.  These colors go great together!!

Now I’m off to Cleburne to shoot Candace and Jeremy’s ‘WE’RE MARRIED’ reception…for their friends and family that couldn’t get out to Vegas.  I’m so glad I get to see them again so soon!!!

I snapped a few detail shots a few weeks earlier, during Jessi’s bridals.  Because she got ready at a suite at Lauberge and it was so pretty

I’m going to go ahead and take this moment to go on and on about the details at this wedding.  I have shot ALOT of weddings in my life, and this one takes the cake.  Jessi and Russ are two very creative people.  So when you put them TOGETHER, there was NO detail left unnoticed.  They literally thought of everything.  I hope this blog post doesn’t crash my blog, because I’ve never posted this many images on one post!  I apologize in advance if this post loads slowly on your computer.  But I just couldn’t leave anything out!

And now I will take this chance to go on and on about the awesome assistant I had for the day.  Since Heather has gone on maternity leave, I brought on Chandler.  He is amazing!  This is the first wedding he shot with me, and I put him in charge of the guys.  I gave him no direction and pretty much just turned him loose with Russ and his groomsmen.  I really had no expectations.  You see, usually, I’m with the girls most of the day.  So the guys don’t really get a photographer to themselves.  So this was a win win for me.  But let me tell you…I was blown away by him.  He was so professional and the guys LOVED him.  And the pictures totally speak for themselves.

There are so many more awesome shots by Chandler.  But I just have no more space to add anything on this post!!!

Jessi is a 5th grade teacher.  So she let her students each write a note of advice.  Some of them were really profound!!  (Man love big plates of food…5th grade and already so smart!)

Russ even designed this logo for the wedding.  TALENT I tell you TALENT!

Jessi got charms for her party and their parents to put on their wine glasses.  Each charm represented the person.  Really?? I mean who thinks of that!!!

Russ was put in charge of the Koozies…..Jessi wasn’t too please with what he came up with…but I think it’s so awesome!

I’m so lucky to also have such awesome associates.  Thanks Tara for coming with me and saving my life and keeping me calm when I thought I might die from stress!

However, I have two other blogs to post before posting this fabulous wedding  I’m trying to stay on the ball, but I haven’t been home enough to even breeeeeathe, and I leave for California this weekend!  WOOHOOOOOO!!!

This is in Red Rock Canyon.  It was 111 degrees.  Everyone told me it is a “dry heat”.  Well I have a few things to say to the people that told me that!!!  But I won’t say those things here  Do you know how much my clients trust me.  THey HIKED INTO A CANYON for me.  I promised them it would be worth it.  We all almost DIED climbing back up to the car.  But I still kept telling them it was worth it.  And I stand by that!!!  I love this picture with all my heart and soul.

And next up will be Marissa and Matt’s wedding…

I’m not sure when the post will be up.  I’m tryyyyying I promise!

And then after that, my awesome friends Jessi and Russ’s amazing wedding!

Also…some very important stuff is going on….I have made the decision to hire a custom designer for a blog/website.  I’ve been on the fence about it for awhile.  But I think it’s the time for it.  I reached the point in my career where I am booking clients from outside of where I live.  Sometimes….very outside of where I live.  People who have never met me and all they know about me is what they see on my website/blog.  Don’t get me wrong, I love what I have.  But it’s the old me.  I need to become a grownup photographer now!  Time for a change.  But not a little change….a BIG change.  

oh and PPS.  I just finished reading Charlie St. Cloud.  That is an amazing book.  If you have ever lost someone close to you, it’s a must read.  It’s not a true story, but I pray that it’s possible.  The movie comes out this month, but if you have the chance, READ THE BOOK FIRST.  It’s really awesome and you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Hello AWESOME!  This set up is just so beautiful to me.  I think if I had to pick the perfect “bridal table” for a show…it would be this.  The cake, of course by the FABULOUS Terra Cotta’s.  The flowers, the lights, it’s just so beautiful!!!

Angela Stutes from Cake Batter did a FABBBBULOUS job on the groom’s cake.  The strawberries are like the coolest strawberries I’ve ever seen!!
