Another year came and went.  It was pretty fantastic.  If you follow me on Facebook, you’ll probably recognize alot of these people.  If not…well here goes nothing!  This may take awhile :) This is a long post, so click below if you dare!

In January we went to New York on a REAL vacation!  With our two best friends.  It was freezing, but we had so much fun!

Then home and back to work!  Off to Galveston for a fabulous Engagement session!

And then there was February… Jamaica!!!  My best friend from high school married her groom.  I’m so thrilled for them both and I’m so happy Matt and I were able to share in the day with them!
Then back home to shoot a Mardi Gras themed wedding!
March was full of fun stuff!
Got together with some fantastic Photographer friends and we learned a little about lighting!
Back to Galveston for this really fun wedding!
In April, my friend Russ and I went to a lighting workshop with Mark Eric and Brandon O’Neil.  It was seriously so much fun.  Those two are great teachers and we learned so much!
I really miss these two!  They are so much fun!
May was amazing and so busy!  I loved every minute of it!
In June I shot two of the coolest “detailed” weddings.  They thought of everything.  I will be blogging more pictures from these two weddings soon!
In July, Jessi and I traveled to Austin to shoot a beautiful outdoor wedding.  We had so much fun.  We even got to visit my Aunt and do a little shopping!
Really?  I just LOVED this wedding!
August was the greatest month of the year for me.  I took the month off to regroup.  Emma turned 1!  And we attended about 5 birthday parties.  We also took our first REAL family vacation.  We went to San Antonio and took Emma to Sea World.  It was so much fun.  She had a blast!  One of the best things about my job is that I can decide when to take family time.  It’s one of the biggest blessings in my life!


September was one of my favorite months of the year!  Jessi and I went to CALIFORNIA to shoot a fantastic wedding.  It was so much fun.  The day after the wedding, we drove up to San Fran.  We enjoyed ourselves so much.  Once we got home I was so busy I don’t think I slept the whole month of September!

In September I traveled to Grapevine all by myself to shoot this wedding!  When I returned, Jessi and I did our very first Bridal Show at Marilyns!  It was quite the adventure!
October!
October included a pretty amazing DANCE OFF!
I turned 30!!! EEEEK!
Emma was a Dallas Cowboy’s Cheerleader for Halloween!
November included 2 weddings and a BUNCH of sessions.  I shot so much in November!  And got a day to spend Thanksgiving with my family
In December we had our first annual Ugly Christmas Sweater party!  It was ugly and awesome!
Emma had a terrific Christmas.  She got so much stuff but I think her favorite part was spending so much time with the family that she ADORES!
From my very LAST wedding of 2012!!!
I hope this post doesn’t crash my blog.  I’m so unbelievable blessed to be able to do what I love.  I do plan on taking a little more time for myself and my family in the coming years.  After such a busy year, I realize I can’t get time back with my daughter.  And now that she’s getting older, I want to cherish every moment.  But I love photography, and I will never leave the business.  It’s helped me get to where I am today and for that I’m forever grateful!  Happy 2013 everyone!
