Laci + Brad | Bridge City, Texas Wedding Photography

Since this post just disappeared into la la land, I’m re-uploading these pictures.  I’m really proud of them and I’m not sure if the old post will be restored.  So not taking any chances.  If you commented on the post already, thank you!  Sorry it disappeared!

Calling all SENIORS 2011!!

Last year’s senior season was so so amazing.  It’s going to be hard to top it.  But I’m gonna try!  I met some of the sweetest, most awesome seniors last year.  They are all off to college now and I wish them nothing but the best.  Hopefully in a few years I’ll be shooting their weddings!  Your senior year is one of the most important years of your life.  Your senior photographs need to showcase you.  Your personality, your hobbies, your interests.  This year I wanted to go all out with awesome products and sweet new props.  I’ve been adding furniture and fun stuff to my senior 2011 stash since my 2010 season ended.  When you book your session now, you will recieve a questionaiire through email.  This will help me get to know you.  This will help you and I decide the best places to go for your session and the coolest props to bring!

First, I made some sweet senior brochures to send out with my senior reps for this year.  If you get one of these brochures, there’s a nice little surprise inside!

And I also printed some sweet little rep cards to hand out around town!

So keep your eye out:)  If you bring in a brochure, you will receive 48 free wallets!!  In addition to THAT special, if you book before September 15th (your session can be anytime, you just have to BOOK your date), you will receive ANOTHER free 48 wallets!!

If you notice in the brochure above, a senior session is $175.00.  This session fee covers my time and talent and doesn’t include prints or a disc.  This fee must be paid when you book your session in order to secure your appointment!  It is non-refundable, but if you have an emergency or the weather is bad, we will reschedule.  So no worries!

So now that the session fee is out of the way:) On to the fun products!

Most of these products are new for 2011 seniors.  Everything you see here is also available for basic sessions!  Just send me an email if you’re interested:)

Albums are the best thing I think I have added to my product list.  They really are amazing and something you will definatly cherish forever.  The old fashioned “drop in” albums are out dated and boring!  These albums are flush mount albums with thick lay-flat pages.  Your album will be custom designed by me.  You may choose the 20 images you would like in your album (you can add more pages for an additional charge).  Or I can choose for you!  You will have the option to proof your album before it is sent to print, to make sure there are not any pictures in there that you’d rather not use.  Albums are available in two sizes, 6×6 and 8×8 (both shown in photo).  They start at $250.00 and include the custom cover and 20 pages.

Just a little FYI, I will be bringing a bag full of all these products to my sessions with me.  So if you want to take a closer look at anything, just let me know!

Now, my next favorite new product is the 3×3 accordion books.  I can fit 8-10 pictures in these.  They are so cute and fit in your pocket or your purse!  They have a magnetic closure so the pictures inside won’t get harmed:)

These are GREAT for family sessions too!

Want something similar but BIGGER??  I also offer accordion books in 4×8 size!~

The 3×3 accordion books are only $25.00!

The small wallet box comes with 48 wallets!  The large box is available in 4×6 and 5×7 and includes 50 photos!

Don’t forget to keep an eye out for these!!  I spent alot of time on them and I’m very proud of how they came out!

I can’t wait to start making fun products with my 2011 seniors!

Holly + Clint | Temecula, California Wedding Photography

I couldn’t believe it when I booked destination weddings back to back.  I mean, it’s a big enough honor to just shoot ONE.  And now I was getting to go to Vegas one SAturday and then wine country the following weekend!  Somebody HOLD ME UP!!!  Both destination wedding couples were from south east Texas, people here sure know how to party!    Holly and Clint quickly became one of my favorite couples.  We had to reschedule their engagement session due to wind.  That seems crazy, I know…but it was seriously so windy that day I could hardly stand up!  But thank God we did, cause the date we rescheduled for, there happened to be the State Fair in town!  My most favorite engagement session of all time.  I still am so in love with those pictures!  So anyways…on to their awesome wedding…

The venue was amazing.  Never ever in my entire life have I been treated so well at a venue.  I can’t even begin to explain how amazing these people were.  Most venues treat the couples and guests amazing, but as a vendor, I’m usually just a second thought (if I’m even thought of at all).  They took care of me and my assistant all day.  Making sure we had EVERYTHING we needed.  Even hunted down a ladder for me!  I would recommend this winery to anyone who was interested in a destination wedding.  And I know they get a high recommendation from Holly and Clint too. Ponte Family Estate in Temecula, California.  Breathtaking isn’t it!

This was the view outside the bridal cabin.

I’m going to say right now, that Holly’s ring is the best ring I’ve ever seen in my life.  And I’ve seen alot of rings (well MY ring from my amazing husband is the best ring ever *disclaimer).  So I took ALOT of pictures of it.  I’m a sucker for ring shots.  So sorry:)

These earrings were given to Holly’s grandma from her grandpa (right Holly?) in 1956.  See the date!!!  How cool is that!

The Barrel Room…the coolest place for a wedding reception!!!

This little guy decided to hang out with me and Nicole while we were shooting.  He loved Holly’s flowers!

The second wedding I’ve shot to use green apples in their decor.  I LOVE IT so much!!!

I told them to “make their feet look cute”.  It worked.

I was taken care of by one of the groomsmen.  He was always there to make sure my shot was good:)  And to make inappropriate comments to get laughter!  Thanks Aaron!

Holly had two bottles of wine sent to my house from this place.  One for me and one for Nicole.  AMAZING.  Their wine is so delicious.  I wish I could’ve spent an extra day there to do a tasting!

Aggie strawberries all the way in California.  Oh yea!

Clint’s nephew was sooooooo cutte!!!

This shot…per Clint’s request:)

They are holding a Port Arthur newspaper.  I love this picture and I’m so glad that Holly and Clint will have this to remember their wedding day and ALL the amazing people that were there to share it.

Thank you to my bada** camera for the 6400 ISO capabilities.  This picture was taken in PITCH black!  Loves it.

I love this shot cause I think that Clint’s mom is SO beautiful!

But then again, Holly’s mom is gorgeous also.  Man I had some pretty people to work with!!!

Stop or she’ll shoot!  Yea…that was corny…whatever….

Thank you guys…from the bottom of my heart for being so awesome.  It was so great getting to know you and I’m happy to be able to call you both friends.  You are both so sweet and I’m so honored you brought me all the way to California with you.  I felt so at home with you and you your family and friends.  I wish you tons of happiness and I can’t wait for the next special occasion in your life that I will get to photography!  Hope you are enjoying married life.  Take it from me, it’s the greatest thing in the whole wide world!!!
